From the AP:

Police say a Provincetown volunteer firefighter is facing a drunk driving charge after he wrecked a ladder truck he was driving during a test.

Sgt. Warren Tobias tells The Cape Cod Times that police issued a citation to 21-year-old Elias Martinez on Tuesday after receiving his medical records from the Nov. 9 crash. A court date has not been set.

Martinez has already been cited for speeding, failure to use caution at an intersection and operating a vehicle negligently. He is expected to be arraigned Dec. 23 on those charges.

Investigators say Martinez was driving the truck when the its front wheel hit a curb and flipped over about four times. Martinez and a female passenger were treated for minor injuries.

    "During a test…"

I guess he had a few drinks to loosen up for the test

This guy is as lucky as he is stupid. Thank goodness he didn't kill any innocent people.

FF or not, a drunken "A" hole is a drunken "A" hole.

Sorry, I forgot to say "alleged".
