From the BBC:

Eleven people have been taken to hospital following a collision involving a fire engine answering a 999 call and a car in Bedfordshire.

The collision happened just before 0900 BST at the junction between Farley Hill and Chapel Street in Luton.

The car was flipped onto its side and shunted against a wall, injuring a man, two women and two girls inside.

Five firefighters and the driver of a taxi were also injured in the collision and all were taken to hospital.
