Thanks to John and Joel Rechlitz, David “DJ” Harper was able to go home from the hospital today. It has been almost two months since the off-duty Milwaukee firefighters rescued the now 5-year-old boy from a burning SUV.

But there is more to this story. It turns out the Rechlitz brothers, who were also burned (Joel goes back to work on Thursday), have been visiting the boy each work and doing many other things to assist his family. I always like to read about the good guys. These gentlemen are a prime example of what makes the United States of America such a wonderful place to live and work.
I believe that anyone that brave to assist someone burning in a vehicle firefighter or not, needs to be called a hero. I disagree completely the video should continue anymore after that poor child had been removed. I think it's great to show those people helping but not showing a child severly burned over internet
