If you are going to use a tower ladder, position it so that it can operate its stream from slightly below the 2nd floor window up and into the room and the attic. Applying water from above is not the primary way of fighting this fire. If you insist on spending huge money on a fancy tower ladder, spend a few extra bucks and bring in an experienced fire service instructor who can instruct your department in the proper way to use the rig.
