From WCHS-TV:
State Police say they have charged a volunteer firefighter with two counts of arson in connection with overnight fires that destroyed two vacant houses in Locke Mills on Tuesday.
Jeffrey A. Tyler, 28, of Bethel is charged with setting fire to one of the buildings. The fire spread to a neighboring house. Both buildings were destroyed.
Tyler was taken to the Oxford County Jail.
Tyler was a member of the Greenwood Volunteer Fire Department.
He is the second Maine firefighter to be charged with arso in recent days. Timothy MacFarline, 23, of Easton was arrested for the fire on Friday night that burned down a storage warehouse in Presque Isle where he worked. Firegeezer has more on that story.
