Relax. It was a prank. My guess is most work places have the occasional prank. Nobody was drunk, no hookers, no fire works out the butt. In the grand scheme of things, this was harmless.

OMAA.

That's for the post above. Oh My Aching A--. Been following this site for about a year now. My perception of the lost ff jobs appears to be coming from FDs with contracts. Here in NC we don't have them. Been wondering if the contracts have pushed ff out of their jobs this year. Don't know if I like the idea or not(contracts that is). As far as the video I would say lighten up. Pranks are in almost every workplace. With our job it's a way to release some of the tension we store up from the things that we see on a daily basis. No one got hurt...no property got damaged...nobody was kept from doing their job. The time it took for the prank was about the time it takes to use the toilet. Are you saying that we can't do that also "Pro"? If the public rants or raves over this video than there is probably more going on at that FD than we know. To the FD where this occured....NICE!!

This prank is better if you do it at night, and hide behind the dumpster with a sledgehammer, smacking it just as the probie opens the lid!

Yeah ...

I sure can't see any reason why in these lean times that the general public is beginning to
question the wages/work schedule/benefit package of us hardworking FireFighters...

It's not like folks know what we're a-doing between Alarms.!!!

HAHAHA..
We can just keep tellin' them we're training,
or maintaining their property (apparatus/firehouse).

HAHAHA ... They won't know no difference..!!!!!!!!
