this was one of the major historical incidents that changed fire departments perspective on flammable and hazardous materials response. to not remind folks about these benchmark incidents enhances the potential for this incident type to be repeated, with the same potential deadly results. we need to remember and learn all the lessons learned these past 50 years as it applies to emergency response so we can all go home the next morning… thank you for sharing this incident.
