A fire that apparently started in the basement of a house at 8444 South Carpenter Street in Chicago’s Gresham neighborhood has left one firefighter burned. The firefighter, initially listed in serious condition is reported to be suffering from first and second degree burns. More from Chicago Breaking News Center.
