In this man’s defense: Those rocks do appear to be metamorphic in nature. They can easily be confused with more sedimentary minerals, and the lack of overall luster can make them difficult to see in the late afternoon sun.

It may have been his desire to shift their physical properties into something more lasting and durable. I applaud his combination of artistic bravery.

But Dave, an important question arises; if a man crashes into a rock slide, and the press isn’t there to capture it, is he is as big an idiot as if the cameras hadn’t been present.
