If this isn’t enough for you, the station also has the view from the ground, video of the man while he was still on the billoard, still images of the efforts by firefighters and police, and interviews with TV station interns who witnessed the event. The only thing that wasn’t well covered was the man himself.
When a naked man climbed a billboard near a television station in Dallas, it was up to firefighters to assist police in getting him down. From KDAF-TV:
A naked man on top of a billboard post near The 33 News came down in dramatic fashion Friday afternoon.
Police and firefighters spent about 45 minutes trying to get the man down from the billboard post near John W. Carpenter Freeway and Mockingbird Lane.
Witnesses said the man took his clothes off between two billboard signs.
Two Dallas police officers and a firefighter climbed up a ladder and coaxed the man to come down by himself. On his way down, the man paused several times to gesture and dance toward busy Highway 183.
Authorities aren’t sure how the man climbed up the billboard post. Officers said they found syringes on the ground near the man. Police said he appeared to be under the influence of drugs.
