Saturday house fire in Lower Saucon, Pennsylvania: Another Newsworking.org production. Here’s what was posted with the video- “Around 0600 hours, Lower Saucon companies were dispatched to the area of Cannon Avenue off of Rt. 378 for a House Fire. Police arrived and reported a working fire. The Duplex was located up a narrow street on top of South Mountain, and up a driveway. Only one engine could fit on the narrrow street. Crews found heavy fire in the garage area of the home on arrival. Multiple handlines were stretched and operating. A fire wall between the homes prevented the fire from extending to the connected exposure.”

Lower Saucon, PA
Safety Officer with open coat & no gloves. What a joke of an example. He is obviously not trained or qualified. 2 white helmets on a hose line??? Who is in charge? If I was Chief in a neighboring dept I would never allow my people to help them or would I ever call them.
Livingston, NJ Fire
Can anyone tell me why the line was not advanced through the front or rear doors? Also, why is booster line being used?
Livingston Question was asked, “Where’s the #@$%’n Tools?” I believe the correct answer is “Back on the truck where YOU and the other 2 guys on the roof left them” 3 guys on a roof and none of you brought a tool=amateurs. Its always great FD PR to scream curses at a scene. Your department should also either buy more SCBA’s or get people interior trained. Booster line? Booster line? I hope I’m not repeating myself, Booster Line? I guess I would suggest your next truck committee just put 25 preconnected garden hose reels on your next truck, that way everybody would get the nozzle.
Someone needs to save the world from helmet cam videos like the one shot in Lake Charles, Louisiana. That’s nine minutes of my life I’ll never get back.
Pretting F’ing pitiful guys.
