A trio of pre-arrival videos

Here are some recently posted videos shot as fire departments arrive on the scene. The one above is from Ontario at Patrice Crescent on Sunday.

This comes under the heading of what they do before you arrive. This features a desperate young man who had just bought the burning pickup truck. It occurred in Windsor, Ontario.

Indiana’s Edward Malik seems to get on the scene before the fire department more than anyone I have come across. He did it again yesterday with this minor electrical fire handled by the New Chicago Fire Department.

Dude…………..Kill the damned siren. I`m thinkin you got a lil overly excited there. Chill out a bit, kill the noise when you get on scene. Saying that, thanks for parking smartly……Out of the way.

What’s the deal with the siren?? Is this a new Police tactic or an officer that got a little too excited? Entirely too long to turn it off!!!

Poor guy with the pickup…I can see why he felt it took so long for the dept to arrive. In reality, it was only several minutes. Good lesson to carry an extinguisher with you!!

Firefighters should use face shields if they’re applying water and not wearing an air mask…the house electrical fire.

Perfect practice makes perfect. These guys wearing turnout gear need to practice being firemen. Full turnout gear with SCBA, put cotton on the street, and pull an attack line EVERY Time is a good place to start. (Video #3)

The first line goes direclty to the garage and begins hitting it from the outside while neglecting to get a line inside and protect the exposure and begin searches… along with the siren issue, glad no one got hurt.
