Not sure how we missed this dramatic video from a week ago. It occurred in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. The downed power lines not only trapped the driver of this beer truck it caused other lines to topple, including one that trapped an ambulance crew. In the end everyone stayed put until the power was cut and no one was hurt. You can read and watch more here.

This just in from the Associated Press: “Over 300 Cases of Killians Red Beer was saved today by the Cottenwood Heights Utah Fire Department, in what could have been a catastrophic Vehicle Accident”
So now all your Irish Firemen can stop crying now and the CISD Team can turn around and go home.
Something tells me that the Cottonwood Heights FD will somehow be nominated for a unit citation in this years Firehouse Magazine Heroism Awards.
The down side to this is all you IAFF Irish Firefighters just potentially lost a new Irish National Holiday.
Good thing this didn’t happen in Cincinnati…
I`m with Collin…….Thing is, I DID notice a couple of rollups doors opened. Did those irish FF`s…..ummm…..self extinguish?? Maybe it was the “angel`s” share….;)~
