Thanks for baring your soul on this, I know it must have been a tremendous burden to carry around. I have always respected your opinions on things, even when we disagreed. Out of respect for you, I must caution you on inviting Rhett to return home.
It's not Rhett per se, we know he comes from good stock. It's just that I would be concerned about the influence that Wines may have had on him during his formative years. Don't get me wrong, I like Wines and would allow him to buy me a beer any time. It's just that any one who takes pride in being a "misfit" and takes your flesh and blood to a "funny" kind of bar has the potential of causing harm to the adolescent mind.
I'm just sayin' Dave be aware, be very aware.

At first I was angry that your oldest son had "duped" me into making him a custom "Lieutentant" helmet front for Roanoke. He was so convincing in our conversation.
After much thought, and after a hefty helping of turkey and trimmings, I've decided I'm going to send him the front anyway. It might be just the push needs to keep his sights on the goal of one day becoming a real fireman.
Be careful. You might be called as a witness in an impersonation case.

There was a bris and that may be part of the anger. It was done in Roanoke where, as you might imagine the choice of mohels was someone limited. Needless to say we did not get one with as steady hand as John Belushi in the SNL commercial in the back of the Lincoln. The scars are more than just psychological.
