Early video: Another Stockton, California fire. Will it live up to the standard set by the last one?

Previous fire video from Stockton, California

A month ago we ran a video of a house fire in Stockton, California that still has people talking, and mostly in a good way. As you know, our esteemed panel of judges and KICs (keyboard incident commanders) can, at times, be quite critical of the firefighting they see portrayed on the little screen. I have yet to find the perfect fireground video that quiets all of the fire critics (am I legally allowed to even use that term on this site?). But the Stockton video posted December 10 came as close to getting a thumbs up from all those commenting (there were 44 comments) as any I have shown you since STATter911.com was created almost five years ago.

Now, one of our readers has sent us another video of the Stockton Fire Department in action posted to YouTube yesterday. Like the previous one, the fire seems to go out rather quickly. But will it meet the standards of the STATter911.com KICs and judges?  All we can do now is wait for the reviews.

Special note #1 from the editor: By the way, despite my attempt at humor and sarcasm, I am very much in favor of constructive criticism with all of the fire videos posted here. Few things are more rewarding about editing this site than the email and comments I get, especially from company officers, that the videos and discussions are regularly used in training in firehouses around the country.

Special note #2 from the editor: I will tell you one thing those Stockton firefighters aren't very good at. That's providing any details with their videos. Since they seem to have that fire thing down, let's start drilling on some basic journalism so we can learn who, what, where, when and maybe even why.
