Good quick attack. The one guy (engineer?) was really hustling>
Great engineer. Quick water, Pulled another line to help with covering exposure.
Freakn engineer kicks ass!!! He did more work in 2 mins then the entire response….lol
Just kidding, relax. But really he kicked ass!
Nice job! I liked the "Where's your helmet?" comment (as I was thinking the same thing).
Very nice video. Shades of Stockton?
good job to the MPO, guy was anticipating what was going to be needed. nozzle crew could have walked in a little quick, but assuming they continued with the interior attack, looks like a quick knockdown. Dave, 2 days in a row, 2 quick knockdowns. Is this a record?
Well, if you count the Detroit video that’s three.

Captain (red helmet), fasten your SCBA waist strap. Yup, quick action, good knockdown.
The video is of the City of Pine Bluff Fire and Emergency Services. The engineer shown is Senior Firefighter John Buchan of Ladder 1. John and Firefighter/Engineer Joe Kisel are the two-man crew of Ladder 1, which responds to all working fires in the city. Back in October we posted an article from John in our brief (very brief) series of departments working with two or three-man crews. This brief video offers good engine work that we point out here, http://backstepfirefighter.com/2012/01/07/pine-bluff-arkansas-video-highlights-quick-work-by-minimum-staffed-crews/. You can read how Ladder 1's "company" operates here, http://backstepfirefighter.com/2011/10/12/two-and-three-man-crews-entry-no-2pine-bluff-arkansas/

well what a job well done…… and i have been saying about lack of accountability on scene from some other calls in our saftey,,,,BUT way to go and remind a brother that he forgot something… if we all can do that then we will hopefully all go home…. there is a approimatley a 47 min vid from chicago fire department that i saw on here awhile ago an di was so impressed that i sent it off to my chief and he is not a fan of politics in big departments but as i was even he was impressed.. i have been off sick for awhile now and not sure when i can join my brothers and sisters on the trucks again, but it has given me lots of time ( maybe to much time ) on the computer an this far is one of ther greatest site foe commentary and feed back , both good and bad, as long as we can help one another with our knowledge and mistakes we will all come out as winners and go home to our family's, i have been a fireifghter for 17 years and a captain for the last 5 and wouldn't trade this life for all the money in theh world…….
thank Dave for the web site
Thak you Capt. and get well soon. And that video you are talking about is Everyone Goes Home – Chicago Fire Department. It is produced and directed for NFFF by my friend Rob Maloney with JoEllen Kelly as the executive producer. It is so good I go around telling everyone that “Rob Maloney” is just a false name I use for tax purposes.
