Two clips from a fire yesterday in Southeast Washington at 428 Newcomb Street. The video above is from the website of Engine 15, Rescue 3 where you will find this description:

Engine 25 found a room off on the first floor, Engine 15 third due, backed up 25Engine which made quick work of the room. Rescue 3 completed their search that proved negative. Nice ladder placements…I like it!!
Please explain, what is a "2 up 2 down"?
2 apartments upstairs two down for a total of 4 apartments in one unit
The new patch/logo did not seem to hinder the Brothers' effectiveness.
Same video twice Dave.
Stupid people that run this website. Fixed now. Sorry.
Do you think that they don burt down the GD house??????
And that was their PIO!
Damn, Joe.
The men & women of the D.C.F.D. did a great job!
Awesome, way to driver over their hose line several times so you could get in there and shoot your stupid video.
Ummm, awesome dude, check the title header on the video and the parade of FFs hustling up the sidewalk immediately after the vehicle stops…duh. They might have been trying to get in there to do more than shoot video. Look again and you'll notice the driver did a nice job of weaving around and over the hose to miss the couplings.
Yep, you're probably right. I read it wrong where it said the video was shot by the neighbor. That was for the 2nd video, so I stand corrected!
Always enjoy watching the DC videos Dave. Large urban department that's not "too cool" to don full PPE. They get a lot of fires but still seem to enjoy doing their job. Like the hustle. Good luck down there with all the nonsense.
Geee Dave, y'all gots some kinda GD contacts ta git hold dis vid!!
Great job by "DCFD" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
