    Dave,

Normally I like all the videos you post. This one however, is beyond unacceptable. What do think you’re doing posting a helmet cam video with no music? Will I now have to rethink the money I just payed out to have a traveling band accompany my engine? You should be ashamed good sir!

On a side note, nice work by the brothers and sisters of JFRD.

Too much fire. Should have been hit from the outside. No point in going in. Just kidding. Good knock down.

There wasnt a possibility of an exterior knock down. The home owner had not poer to the house & windows were covered, however, inspite of all this the home was occupied & housed at least one person, his pets & belongings. We were first in, our truck co. assignment split & immediately went to the rear, while the other came in with us to search & pull ceiling. Afterwards fire damage was contained to just the front of the house, while the rear portion had heavy smoke damamge. Its our depts policy to make an interior attack when at all possible.
Sorry, weve been listening to you guys about music…so we opted out on this one. We did make a music video once, check it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4S9o-kaekCE

The knock down was good but what was with the yard breathing? I liked the progressive flat load they had on the crosslay too, classic!

Fire attack not bad…..I agree with BackStep…. why are they wasting air in the yard? need to work on a different way to rack your pre-connects. Not impressed with running the line, but again fire attack was not bad… Strike Da Box! K

Each company Cpt. has the responsibility as to how his/her apparatus is “set up”. Our station Cpt. has been at our station for 22 years & has determined the flat lay is best suited for our response area. Being a big city (840 sq miles) you can find different set ups…some have triple loads, others minute man loads. It works pretty well when you need it.

Good work fellas. Might could have used a lil more of a fog pattern to help with knocking the fire, but none the less good job.

Fog pattern in a house fire? Have you received any training in fighting fires Number 7?

Looked better than most of what we see on here. Keep on pushing in with the straight stream!! Unless your trying to conserve water or something in a rural area…

It was good to see you guys get on air early and away from the structure.

I’ll back up what Scott says in regards to the choice of load. The houses in Engine 2′s territory have very small yards and are often just feet from the street. The triple layer can get a bit awkward on those. Plus, you have so many companies right on top of you, that there are usually plenty of guys to flake hose and chase kinks if needed. I have seldom seen Engine 2 have a delayed stretch, so something is clearly working.
