Why do people yard breathe? So much wasted air that you may need when the S**T hits the fan. Also flake the line and bleed it and get in there.

Lets see: Yardbreathing, fog streams, oppossing hoselines, thats just a start. The comments about the fire looking hot, last time I checked it usually is. Get a set of irons, force that door from the hinges and get the hell in there. Instead the outside stream was pushing all that heat back in.

Probably the kids first fire and yeah some anxiety but so what? The idea of the mask in place at the door is ok to me the same smoke exiting there is the same inside. A little slow getting in once water was at nozzle and some insecurity about what next but not a bad job. Imagine some middle of nowhere town with a trailer burning and they actually confine it before total loss. That’s a good start to someone.

I don’t know how many of you fight single or double wide trailer fires but in my opinion not a bad job. Yard breathing is a pet peeve of mine too. Fog pattern??? I understand there was an obstruction at the door but fog pattern??

Probally a not so experinced nozzleman with a very understaffed fire ground. Not a bad job given all the variables that they were more than likely dealing with.2 in 2 out.. 360 size up… put some water on the fire and most of your problems go away and everyone goes home type of circumstances. Good job guys!
