Two videos that show the knockdown of a three-alarm fire on Tuesday evening at 30 Denton Place in Toronto.
A Toronto firefighter was taken to hospital Tuesday evening with severe burns to his torso after a 3-alarm fire broke out at an apartment building in Scarborough.
The fire started on eighth floor balcony which later spread to the ninth floor.

Looks like the wind definitely played a factor in this one. You can see the smoke is not behaving normally. There was probably a tremendous amount of heat/smoke blowing back into the building.
I hope the firefighter is getting excellent care and pain meds, may he recover fully.
I must say, Canadian is harder to understand than it used to be.
Hmm….looks like they used that ‘special nozzle’ for when you can’t gain entry due to wind, fire load, clutter, temp etc.
Wait what!…. Crews had gained entry!
Dunno if there is any editing or not but I hope the water from above didn’t contribute to the ffs burns.
