They just said no fire in the house… maybe unlock and open the first floor windows and not smash them out. Totally unnecessary to do that damage.
Where did you read no fire in the house? God forbid a window is broken in an attempt to extinguish a house fire. Looked like nice agressive firefighting stopped this from beig just a foundation left. Good Job Men!
*being sorry
mad about the windows but not the hole in the roof? This certainly looked like something is burning in this house, and it looks like the boys from Syracuse went in and put it out. A new door, a few windows, and patching the roof is a lot cheaper than getting a new house. The brothers didn’t do unnecessary damage, they did their jobs.
Yeah I can agree with Mark , crash the basement windows and open the windows on the floor(s) above. Vent to fight and vent for life. As far as roof vent, we just don’t swing that way down here boys. Not that there’s anything wrong with them types , lol.
In the North East with our construction, the basement has a straight shot to the attic through the stud bays. If you don’t get up their and open up that roof, you’ll find a raging attic fire.
