See what all the fuss & the lawsuit is about in dash-cam video of cop pulling over volunteer firefighter at gunpoint: The story that brought the most comments and eyeballs ever to STATter911.com is the violent confrontation caught on video in Oklahoma in May, 2009 between a state trooper and a paramedic who was transporting a patient to the hospital. This latest confrontation caught on video between a police officer and a volunteer firefighter in Wisconsin is quite tame in comparison. Though it does have some 100 mph driving and a drawn gun it lacks the high emotion seen in the Oklahoma incident. And unlike the 2009 video, in this case, a great many on the fire side commenting on STATter911 are supporting the police officer over the firefighter. Check it out yourself and see what you think.

This sure is different: One of my favorite videos from the weekend comes from San Rafael, California where a crew dredging the canal made a great effort, using an excavator on a barge and a hose line attached to the bilge, in dealing with an apartment fire. Check it out. Reminds me of the guy who put out a living room fire with a snow blower.

Hialeah, FL union official makes news for a reason other than Facebook and his TV interview: The last we checked in on Lt. Eric Johnson he was dealing with issues surrounding a Facebook post and his televised response about the post. More recently Lt. Johnson made the news for making allegations of voter fraud in Hialeah. Here’s the story.
