These are terrible buildings to fight fire in…Metal frame, metal skin, with addition after addition. They’re almost always chock full of flammables, often including vehicles and compressed gas containers. The skin usually has to be manually removed to get to the fire, and overhaul is just a nightmare. But they usually don’t collapse, unless the back hoe operator gets ambitious or careless. And for it to be a tender supply operation makes it even more complicated. Ugh!!

You know it’s serious when the back hoe is special called!
To the photographer……… Thanks for taking shots of the water supply operation. Looks like it was well in hand.
To the guy that was straddling the hose……. Singing soprano yet? That would make an interesting worker’s comp claim.
