Video above and below from firefighter4039 at a fire yesterday evening in Middlesex Township, Pennsylvania (Cumberland County). Here are excerpts from the description with the video taken by a captain at Company 39, North Middleton Township VFC:
I have viewed this video and have found some things I need to improve in and I am open to *CONSTRUCTIVE* criticism on this video. I have been a Captain for 1 yr and a half and still have a lot to learn. One major thing I am working on is to CALM DOWN. I will admit with the possibility of someone being trapped made my heart go a little faster which does not give me the right to move any faster but open my eyes the see the whole picture. Initial report were everyone was out of the house while responding we were informed someone possibly might still be inside. As crew was making entry it was confirmed all occupant were accounted for.
An apparent electrical fire on Tuesday night severely damaged a home that sits on a farm in Middlesex Township.
No one was injured in the fire that broke out around 6:14 p.m. in the 200 block of Sulpher Spring Road.
Fire crews arrived on scene to find live wires down and flames on the outer part of the home, which suggested the fire was electrical in nature, according to Middlesex Township Fire Chief Ed Beam.
