I personally think it was wrong the way DCFEMS top man handled this. Pete definitely doesn't deserve this. But then most of those affected by the current DCFEMS leader's behavior and drastic policy shifts don't deserve what he is doing to this Department. By using his influence with DC Gov’s mayor he was able to accomplish this travesty. It’s a shame that the current DCFEMS Chief runs the Fire Department like he is a medieval lord.   Oh yeah, he also just issued a mass demotion list, one of the first of its kind in the history of the DCFEMS (otherwise know as DCFD).
