Engines 2,9,6 Truck 2, Rescue, Squad and car 4 were dispatched to a reported fire in the 200 block of John st around 3:32 PM. Caller reported basement was on fire and the house was filled with black smoke, audible detectors in the background.

Helmet-cam video of a fiery crash on Friday where a car leaves the roadway and slammed into a house in Adams County, Pennsylvania.
A car left Cranberry Road and flipped into a home, setting it on fire. It happened around noon today. Officials at the scene were not saying much, but it is believed there were two occupants in the car, both of whom were taken to the hospital for treatment.

A general alarm fire on August 3 at an apartment building in Lancaster City, Pennsylvania.
Nine displaced families totaling 27 people had sought assistance from the Red Cross as of early Friday afternoon, according to spokeswoman Melinda Guise. They were being provided with food, clothing and shelter.
Firefighters encountered heavy fire when they arrived at the apartment building, Barton said. They first attacked the fire by going inside the building.

Four cats were killed when a home on Jayview Avenue in Lehigh Acres caught fire Sunday night.
The fire started in the garage of the home, according to firefighters.

Units from the Abingdon Fire Company, Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company, Susquehanna Hose Company and the Aberdeen Proving Ground Fire Department also operated.

This is a rekindling fire. Hours before this crews extinguished a small fire in the attic of the home. The fire rekindled in the insulation of the home. Crews arrived to find flames shooting out of the attic.

A family on their boat catches video of a two-alarm building fire in Edgemere, Baltimore County, Maryland.

The first fire, at 9600 Gettysburg Ave. in Fort Howard, was reported at 9:58 p.m. Saturday and involved a vacant dwelling that was being renovated, officials said. The fire spread to an adjacent wooded area, officials said, adding that approximately 150 fire personnel responded. The fire was under control at 11:37 p.m., officials said.

A citizen reporter captures the pre-arrival, arrival and extinguishment of a building fire in Kimberling City, Missouri on June 29.
Crews were dispatched to the report of heavy fire and smoke from the Ski Shack. First Engine arrived at 07:06 and set up defensive operations protecting the adjacent boat docks. The adjacent docks sustained minor damage.

Video shows a three alarm fire in San Jose, California on June 28.
According to San Jose fire Capt. Mike Van Elgort, neighbors reported a fire at the large, two-story home on the 400 block of S. 7th Street shortly before 8:30 p.m., and arriving crews “saw smoke coming out of every window.”
Crews went in and found fire on multiple floors, and aerial crews were called in to extinguish the blaze from the outside and prevent it from spreading to other nearby structures.

Multiple videos capture a waterfront house fire on Saturday evening in Pickering, Ontario, Canada.
A fire that started in a back-porch barbecue has completely destroyed a million-dollar Pickering home, Peel police tell CityNews.
No one was injured. The fire caused about $1 million in damages.

Shortly after 2 p.m., firefighters were called to 104 Lewis Ave. on a report of smoke coming from the building. Within minutes, the light smoke turned to thick black smoke as the fire tore through the building.

Firefighters responded to a call for a dwelling fire in the 8000 block of Mid Haven Road at about 8:30 p.m. July 7, according to Baltimore County Public Safety spokeswoman Louise Rogers-Feher.
Upon arrival, there was no evidence of a fire, but firefighters said they soon saw smoke inside the house and then reported seeing fire on the second floor.

One firefighter was injured battling this four-alarm fire in Edina, Minnesota on Tuesday evening. Watch at :35 in the video above as two firefighters come out from between the fire building and the exposure on Side B (image below). Note the bundle of hose the second firefighter is carrying over his shoulder is burning a bit when he drops it on the ground.
The initial call came in at 11:22 p.m. on Tuesday, July 10, with reports of heavy smoke on the first floor of an apartment building in the 4100 block of Parklawn Avenue. The blaze eventually escalated to a four-alarm fire before crews were able to put it out, following more than an hour of grueling work.
Edina firefighters were joined by crews from Eden Prairie, Bloomington, Hopkins, Richfield and St. Louis Park, among others.

Several command officers including the Southern Division Chief (Chief 833 Kelleher with command) were on the scene.

A neighbor captures a house fire Monday night in Brookeville, Ohio. Also shown is the occupant, being taken to the ambulance on a backboard, after jumping from the second floor to safety.
One person was injured in a fire at an apartment building Monday night when he jumped from a second-floor window.
Several other occupants who lived upstairs and downstairs were able to escape after neighbors warned them that the structure was on fire by beating on the exterior of the building, Brookville fire Chief Ronald Fletcher said.

This is from a fire at 300 Redwood Drive on June 9 in Manor Township, PA (Lancaster County) that took the life of 96-year old Luther Killian. The video is from a firefighter on Tower 67 of the Rohrerstown Fire Department.

Tower 67 arrived first with heavy smoke from all sides of a 1 story single family structure. As crews were placing portable ladders, the OIC, Bar-man and Can-man attempted to make entry on the alpha side and were met with heavy fire conditions. Crews backed out and proceeded to the charlie side where the Can-man made entry through a window finding a priority 4 patient. The patient was removed by the Can-man with assistance from Engine 905s crew through the window to members of Tower 66. With the fire well advanced through-out the structure and an increasingly hazardous situation with power surges inside the structure, command requested the evacuation tones and began par-checks.
His daughter, Eileen E. Killian, managed to escape the flames, which destroyed the family’s 50-year-old home.
When the Blue Rock crew arrived, they got in through a window and pulled Luther Killian out and into an ambulance, where he was declared dead.
At one point, he said, firefighters sounded horns to withdraw all personnel from inside the home because conditions were too dangerous.
