Another major fire in D.C.

Video from the fire in Adams Morgan and interview with Chief Dennis Rubin.

Since 1:15 this morning, D.C. Fire and EMS has been on the scene of an apartment building fire. The fire is in the 2600 block of Adams Mill Road, NW. It is a 4-story building with about 30 units.

Two firefighters were slightly hurt by falling debris after a master stream hit a parapet wall. Chief Dennis Rubin reports water supply problems with an 8-inch main at a high spot in the city. Firefighters stretched LDH across the Duke Ellington Bridge to a 20-inch main.

We will have more later.
