TCPalm.com has a series of photos from witnesses to a fire this morning at an abandoned Pizza Hut in Vero Beach, Florida. George Bachman is credited as shooting most of the photos.
The photos capture the place taking off very quickly and the roof collapsing. The slide show on the site has the pictures out of order, but you will be able to quickly figure it out.
One closer photo of just the structure engulfed in flames is taken by a man named Bob Vatland. I have a feeling that’s Mr. Vatland, caught in one of Mr. Bachman’s photos, as he is snapping the picture.
The fire at 9:15 AM, in a building vacant for four years and without electricity, is being called suspicious by Indian River County Fire Rescue Assistant Chief Brian Nolan.
