The image above from Kentland VFD shows what Side C looked like shortly after 8:15 Sunday night at a townhouse in the 11,200 block of Westport Drive in Glenn Dale, Maryland. With fire on all three floors, 911 callers indicated a man was still trapped inside. Prince George’s County firefighters knocked down some fire from the outside and began an interior attack. It turned out the man, who suffered burns and smoke inhalation, had already exited the building.

The evacuation of the fire building was ordered as a partial collapse occurred. No firefighters were hurt. For more details check out the PGFD press release from spokesman Mark Brady.

It has been a busy few days for PGFD. Check out more incidents here, here, here and here.
