Philly.com:

A historic Main Line mansion in Radnor Township was gutted by a massive fire Wednesday afternoon.

An automatic alarm was triggered shortly before 2:30 p.m. and by the time firefighters arived at the scene, flames could be seen shooting through the roof of the palatial three-story structure on the sprawling estate known as Bloomfield, said Township Fire Marshal Don Wood.

delcotimes.com:

Thick smoke could be seen coming from the blaze after the fire began in the garage of the home, according to fire officials. No one was inside at the time the fire broke out in the early 20th-century, 22,000-plus-square-foot home and there were no immediate reports of injuries, according to authorities.

The home is valued at nearly $5 million on Zillow.com, and is described as a “Marvelous Country Estate—French Chateau designed by Horace Trumbauer and is one of the last remaining grand Country Estates on the Main Line.”
