Two occupants of a Bethpage home managed to escape a raging fire early Monday.

Bethpage firefighters responded to multiple calls for a house fire on Cambridge Avenue and arrived at the scene just after 2 a.m., firefighters said.

They were confronted by heavy smoke and fire coming from the two- story home.
