A fire is tearing through a warehouse on port property located at 950 West River Street. Plumes of black smoke can be seen billowing out from the warehouse from all around downtown savannah. According to the police scanner everyone is out of the warehouse and this is a rubber fire.

Savannah Police say the fire has stopped traffic on West Bay Street between West Lathrop and Fahm streets and has greatly slowed traffic on the Talmadge Bridge.
