Albuquerque firefighters doused a two-alarm fire that broke out in the Mountain Run apartment complex Friday.
Fire crews were able to knock down the large flames by 12:30 p.m. The fire was out before 1 p.m. They fought the blaze for about an hour.
Two buildings with a total of 12 apartments were affected. Eight apartments were destroyed by fire and the remaining four suffered smoke damage.
