A woman will be arraigned in court in connection to the theft of a Revere firefighter’s wallet that was stolen while he was out battling a fire at a local business last week. Aleesha Mceachern will be arraigned in Chelsea District Court on Aug. 4 where she will face charges of larceny, identity fraud, credit card fraud and attempt to commit a crime. Revere police said as a result of numerous tips from the public, the department was able to conduct an investigation and get a complaint against Mceachern.
Video from inside the fire house shows the suspect walking through with two kids.
Mceachern is also accused of going on a shopping spree racking up $400 worth of charges on the firefighter’s credit card.
The Revere Police Department says Mceachern is currently being held at the Suffolk County House of Corrections on an unrelated matter.
