Up in smoke … really – L.A. medical marijuana clinic burns

No, this is not the Jimmy Kimmel clip that always pops up about the high firefighter. It’s arrival video shot by LOUDLABS NEWS this morning (Thursday) of a fire inside the Vermont Clinic, a medical marijuana facility in Los Angeles.

You will see there are a lot of police on the scene before the firefighters arrive. According to the description with the video both LAPD and CHP officers spotted the smoke, but I will let you make your own joke.

On the firefighting side, I imagine this adds a new dimension to the arguments on either side, both positive and negative, about SCBA use on the roof.
