Early video from Firemedic2547 of a fire yesterday (Tuesday) inside an industrial dryer at American Custom Drying on Elbo Lane in Burlington Township, New Jersey. According to news reports, the fire resulted in the release of calcium bromide.
A Tuesday afternoon fire at an industrial plant on Elbo Lane caused the release of a nontoxic chemical into the air, police said.
The dryers are used to turn liquid chemicals into resins and powders for industrial purposes.
Police said that the chemical, which often is used for drilling, is not considered toxic and that the release was not a threat to public safety.
