UPDATE: Fire engine rolls while responding in Prince George’s County, MD — plus second crash
UPDATE
Not only has it been a bad three weeks for fire apparatus in Prince George’s County, Maryland, today (Sunday) has been a particular bad day. There have been two crashes today involving responding apparatus that injured eight firefighters. Indications are all injuries are relatively minor.
The first wreck, early this morning, involved an overturned pumper out of Morningside VFD (see below). Later Squad 806 collided with a passenger car at Route 202 and Arena Drive in Largo. This left a firefighter and a civilian with injuries.
You may recall that PGFD lost a pumper and a rescue-engine when they were caught in a fast moving fire on April 6 (Click here for that story).
