Fire late this (Thursday) morning heavily damaged the Havelock Fire Department in New Brunswick. The firehouse is less than three-years-old. Early pictures from Jarvis Anderson can be found here and his early video is below.
CBC:
Gerald Jones, chief of the Petitcodiac fire department, says officials were alerted Thursday, just before 11:30 am, when a passer-by noticed smoke coming from the building.
Firefighters from Petitcodiac, Salisbury, Elgin, Penobsquis and Riverview responded to the call to assist the Havelock crew.
Jones says one firefighter was treated for smoke inhalation during the fire, which appears to have started in one of the trucks.
