An interesting video from Hooks & Halligans Fire Photography, taken during a house fire yesterday (Thursday) during the noon hour at 58 Nichols Drive in Blenheim, Ontario.
The description with the video describes this as a fatal fire, but the news coverage I’ve seen makes no mention of a fatality. From the video:
Once crews had fire knocked down enough and were conducting a search of the home, firefighters discovered a female resident who was deceased.
It took about an hour to bring the fire under control.
A male occupant was home at the time of the fire. A witness who saw the fire helped the man to the road as he was exiting the home. It is not certain what, if any injuries the man sustained.
