Caught on camera: Video as LAFD firefighters escape explosion, plus update
UPDATE: LAFD PIO Captain Erik Scott reports firefighters were dispatched for a building fire around 6:36 pm PT at 327 East Boyd Street. Firefighters were involved in an interior attack at Smoke Tokes Warehouse distributors when an explosion occurred injuring 11 firefighters. Captain Scott says the injured firefighters were all burned but he did not elaborate on conditions of the firefighters. Captain Scott says Smoke Tokes is a supplier for manufacturers of butane honey oil.

Approximately 10 firefighters were injured as multiple buildings were on fire in downtown Los Angeles Saturday, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The fire, located in the 300 block of East Boyd Street, was upgraded to a “major emergency” around 6:36 p.m., with an explosion reported on scene, according to the LAFD.
