UPDATEL At 2:54 pm a DC Fire & EMS unit called urgently for assistance for one person shot.
There are reports of numerous injuries to police officer and others at the U.S. Capitol as protesters stormed the building. The mass protest has blocked roads and made it difficult for DC Fire & EMS to access the scene. Fire and EMS are now staged on all sides of the Capitol. News coverage shows some protesters are inside the U.S. Capitol.
