Arrival video from Kyle Paul with the GoPro tiller view at an apartment fire in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. It’s one of two recent fires at this mostly vacant, abandoned row of apartments. Harrisburg Bureau of Fire Chief Brian Enterline calls the buildings a death trap for firefighters. Watch the interview in the video at the bottom of the page.

AJ Sisson & Chloe Keith, WGAL-TV:

Chief Brian Enterline said the fire was intentionally set. The person who did it blocked doors and hallways, creating a very dangerous situation for firefighters, according to Enterline.

The chief called the situation a death trap.

It’s also the second time this week crews were called to a fire at the apartment complex.

“These things are derelict inside. There’s trash all over the place. The ceilings are pulled down. You know, water heaters are blocking doors for us,” said Chief Enterline.
