Early video from Matt Gregoire (sparkywfd) taken during a house fire on Wednesday. Here’s what Matt wrote about the fire:

Call for a fire in the rear of the house came into dispatch shortly after 5:30am. Heavy fire conditions were showing when the first engine arrived. A 2nd alarm was quickly ordered.

Hose lines were deployed to the rear of the house to protect an exposure and to start knocking down the heavy fire. Other lines entered the front of the house and attacked the fire from the interior.

The occupants of the house made it out safely, however, 2 dogs perished. It took about 2 hours to bring the fire under control. The temperature was 7 degrees at the time of the fire.
