Firefighters first on scene had fire and smoke showing from a single story, single family dwelling on the 500 block of Richmond Street. Firefighters advance hand-lines and encountered heavy fire in the rear with extension in the attic, requesting a Second Alarm assignment. Fire Companies from nearby Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Torrance and L.A. County Fire Departments assisted El Segundo Units on scene.
