Here’s the description:

On arrival E193 had light smoke from single story multi-unit apartment building in a senior housing complex. Bystanders indicated that there was still someone inside. The involved unit was charged with heavy black smoke. Knowing the layout and small size of the unit Capt. 93 and FF-93 made entry without a hoseline to facilitate a quick primary search followed by knockdown of the kitchen fire once they had completed a lap and the line was charged. Ultimately it was determined that they sent us in looking for a dog………Scooter, a male Chihuahua-mix was recovered by E88 during the secondary and suffered no ill effects from smoke exposure.
