Multiple Homes on Fire in Takoma Park, MD. Raw Helicopter Video.
Firefighters in Montgomery County, MD called three alarms to Ritchie Avenue in Takoma Park Friday afternoon. According to investigators the fire started in the rear of the single-family home at 130 Ritchie and spread to two other homes.
The woman who lives at 130 was napping. The barking of her dog alerted her to the fire. At one of the homes next door, it was a 6-year-old boy who told his dad about the spreading fire.
The fire was handled by approximately 100 firefighters from Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties.
