At last word Aiden, Bricen, and Coleson Petrucelli were still listed in critical condition at Children’s National Medical Center after Thursday’s house fire in Bethesda. Friends of the Petrucelli’s, including the organization Montgomery County Parents With Multiples, have begun fund raising efforts on behalf of the family. There is a website (above) that includes this message:
We wanted to extend our heartfelt thanks to the brave firefighters who rescued the triplets including Curtis Warfield Jr., John Klavon, and Kimonti Oglesby. Thank you, firefighters!
On Friday, 9NEWS NOW reporter Gary Reals spoke with Lt. Curtis Warfield Jr. about the obstacles he and Firefighter John Klavon faced in finding the children and getting them out of the house. Warfield and Klavon are members of the Burtonsville VFD who are paid to provide staffing at the Bethesda Chevy Chase Rescue Squad.
STATter 911 has also been told a firefighter with the National Naval Medical Center Fire Department assisted with the rescue of the third child. No name of that firefighter has been provided.
Our previous coverage of the fire here and here.
Firefighter John Klavon
