Clearing the in-box: Weekend incidents sent to STATter911.com from PA, MD, MA and VA.

The weekends lately seem to be a lot busier than the weekdays. I am a little slow on posting a few incidents sent in by our readers. Let’s catch up:

A grab in Philadelphia. Our friends at PhillyFireNews.com have a series of pictures like the one above by Ron Trout of the fire Saturday afternoon at 3210 N. 5th Street. The victim is a 65-year-old man. Click here for more details and Ron’s pictures.

A photo (above) by Billy McNeel, PGFD Citizens Services Unit, of a house fire Friday at 7310 Riverdale Road. Two pets perished and a firefighter suffered a minor burn. Read the press release by Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Department Chief Spokesman Mark Brady. See more pictures on thewatchdesk.com. The firefighter on the roof without SCBA and his hood hanging down has caught the attention of Chief Bly Goldfeder’s FirefighterCloseCalls.com and has sparked discussion on thewatchdesk.com.

Our New England bureau chief Jimmy Daly took in this two-alarm fire (above) on Warren Avenue in Chelsea, MA on Saturday. Click here for lots of pictures.

Nate Camfiord, Mutual Box Media, took the picture above of a crash early Saturday in Manassas, VA. Click here to read Nate’s details of this and another pin job in Prince William County.
