Around 10:30 am, while several JMVFC (Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company) units were already on a small fire in Edgewood, a second call was alerted for a reported building fire at the Denny’s, 1803 Edgewood Road.

Units from the Abingdon Fire Company, Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company, Susquehanna Hose Company and the Aberdeen Proving Ground Fire Department also operated.
