A large fire in Darby, Pa. led to the precautionary evacuation of nearby residents, as the fire caused the collapsing of the walls of a grocery store and heavy smoke filled the area.

The fire broke out around 6 a.m. Saturday at the Liberia Waterside Market on the 800 block of Main Street.

WPVI-TV:

Fire officials evacuated a few neighboring homes including two apartment buildings as a precaution.

The fire was brought under control just before 12:00 p.m.
